What an experience. The farm fair is really something. Nowhere else could you see so many old machines that actually run, many of them over 100 years old. This year they set a world record for the number of machines running at one time. Being a city boy I had no idea what the machines were doing but it was... More

We just stopped in thinking it would be a 30 minute tour, we ended up killing 3 hours and could have stayed longer. It is $10/adult. There was a huge playground for kids which was a lot of fun for my 5 year old.

This is a place we tell our friends about. We visit every year for the Stampede and enjoying the festivities. The town and area goes all out and it very obvious that they really care about this museum and the artifacts they protect. The volunteers go above and beyond to give visitors both the history and the meaning behind the... More

From the horse drawn, to steam power, with all the tools and equipment in between, the museum takes us back in time to the way it used to be. Beautifully preserved, and celebrated... More

We just came back from an easy day trip. Campgrounds are available. The magnificent Clydesdale horses were shown in full harness during the morning. Also an excellent group of horsewomen who did an intricate series of drills (think musical ride).nobody got kicked and only one hat lost in wind which picked on this event! Foraging for lunch revealed the usual... More

If you are interested in history and agriculture from bye gone years this is a must see when travelling through Manitoba. The Thresherman's Reunion is the high light event at this location.

I enjoyed the car show, the horse demonstration, the tractor demonstration. After the old tractor show they should include a big spnking new 4 wheel drive tractor in the same model!
