We had a wonderful time. The views are amazing. I suggest finding a local with a row boat and they will take you out on the lake for an hour out and an hour back, around 200 limps. They usually are very knowledgeable and fun...More

Happened to stop there due to car trouble but that was a blessing in disguise! Took a boat ride to Tilapia farm in the middle of the lake. Had deep fried fresh Tilapia for lunch at the restaurant. Overall a great experience.

Hotel Finca Las Glorias is a great place to stay and rent water equipment. The ranch sits on the banks of the lake and the breeze is so fresh and sweet, even in the summer. The fish are caught daily and they are delicious.

Lake Yojoa is a must on your way to the Caribbean coast of Honduras. The scenery is very beautiful, great fried fish on the road (El Jardin del Bass) and astonishing natural parks nearby (PANACAM). A must to know in Honduras.

Wonderful lake - as large and pretty as any of the more famous in Central America (Atitlan being the obvious one) but much less busy and spoilt. Lots of walking opportunities and good range of wildlife. Must-see in Honduras!
