Since camera is not allowed inside the temple, it was not possible to click a picture of divya shila. It is a small hot spring in which pilgrims can dip rice or potatoes in a cloth and get it cooked as prasad. There are folks who will help in dipping to avoid rush. It is just next to the shrine of goddess yamuna. Usually pilgrims take a dip in surya kund, which takes away all the tiredness of the trek, and then take their offerings to divya shila and later circumbulate goddess yamuna. If you can withstand cold water, a dip in river yamuna also can be done

Near to the Surya Kund there is a Shila (stone) called Divya Shila. As per the rituals this Divya Shula is worshipped before puja is offered to the deity.

Devotees prepare rice and potatoes, tied in muslin cloth, to offer at the shrine by dipping them in these hot water springs. Rice so cooked is taken back home as prasadam

A rock close to temple. One need to worship divyashila first before entering to temple. Its not mandate but a ritual and process of pooja.

Divyashila is a rock. Before entering Yamunotri temple you must perform pooja at divyashila rock area.
