There are not many good hotels or restaurant around... Just small canteen type restaurant only.. One proper restaurant is available which is run by the state tourism .. It's near the large Nandi statue

Temple is open from morning 5.00 AM to 12.30 PM and in the evening from 4.00 PM to 8.30 PM, all days a week. Though timings change during festivals.
