The place is a great getaway. Easily accessible through the nearby homestays, it offers a spectacular view of the surrounding hills, the aritar lake and if you are lucky the mighty Kachenjunga with the sleeping Buddha.

We stayed at Kanchanjangha Mirror view Homestay which is just one minute walking distance from mankhim Hilltop view point and Rai Temple. Mankhim is rather better option from Aritar because a magnificent of Mt. Kanchenjunga. You can see a wide range of Hill which is very lofty. Our Homestay is one of the best according to location. you can see Mt. Kanchenjunga from bed also. Boot shape Aritar lake is also bird's eye view from there. But this point is not comfortable for senior citizen persons due to stairs.

We stayed one night in Mankhim village. This view point is about 2 km from Mankhim village. You can relish Aritar Lake at Bird's eye.

From here you will get a mesmerising view of the Boot shaped Jhorpokhri Lake and on a clear day Morning you will get the View of Kanchenjunga . The view might not be that of what we get in pelling or Rishav but definitely worth a view.Communication is also good with good road condition.

A small village at Aritar, East Sikkim, 3 hours from New Jalpaiguri station, staying at homestay, you can enjoy the spiritual beauty of Kanchenjangha from Mankhim temple. Nearby attraction is Aritar lake, is a hoghest lake with boating facility at Sikkim.

From the highest point, the entire Aritar can be spotted, Even the Lamphokhri Lake. But for Aged person it is little difficulty as there are many many steps to reach the top point. There is a temple also at the highest point and you can click beautiful photos there.

Mankhim is a Beautiful Hill Village full of Flowers, Orchids & Greens.
But we had very Bitter Experience at "Kanchanjungha Mirror Homestay" as the Owner Mr. Lalit Rai is not a loyal businessman. We booked 2 Rooms for 2days, 4months before with full payment but when we reached the Homestay He refused to give Rooms at "Kanchanjungha Mirror". We were forced to take Rooms in another Homestay as at Kanchanjungha Mirror all Rooms were occupied at that time.
There is no Transparency in His Business policy. So, it should take a serious thought before booking "Kanchanjungha Mirror Homestay" Or Mr.Lalit Rai's other properties.

It's a view point high in the hills. You have to climb stairs from the road to reach this view point. You can have a panoramic view all around. You can clearly see Lampokhri down below. You can also see the only airport of Sikim in Pakyong on the other mountain from here. There is a sacred temple also located on this view point.
