Excellent place to visit to witness the terracotta artwork. Bishnupur Tourist lodge is a good hotel to stay. Baluchari Sarees are also the centre of attraction for the ladies...

The ticket counter is here. The place is very clean and well maintained. The sequence of interlinking arches and passages make great photo ops (just find the best light). Great to sit on the steps. Nothing to see inside. Can be done in 20 minutes...More

If you love architecture or history, this is one of the best place for you. Lovely pattern, red burnt clay and beautiful design. Kids will also enjoy their game through its more than 100 doors.

I would recommend to go there at holidays & Sunday and Saturday during evening. The light show is splendid! No need to say that this is one of it's kind only in whole india & a must see place in bishnupur.

We have seen any documentaries or movies shot at this location. Multiple pillars makes a lovely pattern. Again visit not recommended during summer days.
