Nagina Masjid is a structure located deep inside the jungle. Even the local people of Champaner are oblivious to its location.
The structure is same as the other masjids in the area but the structure separate from the masjid is it’s USP among all other attractions in Champaner. Its a nice place but I felt it can be skipped. The ASI needs to help improve access to the masjid. Gujarat Tourism must also make efforts to project the Group of monuments at Champaner as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hardly any tourists come to visit these famous monuments. Everyone only goes to Pavagadh temple.

Well if you happen to visit Baroda I recommend you do visit Champaner and all the masjids in the area.. they are quite a few and the best way to cover them is on foot or a two wheeler.. Nagina masjid located deep in the fields is a delight but I really had to walk to find it .. the place is not crowded and pretty well
Maintained.. I believe this is the only masjid that has carvings... make it a point to start early morning so that you wrap up your visit by 10 am..

Being maintained by government and visit is chargeable..No charge for children upto 12yrs.

Mosque is small model of Jami Masjid nearby. Garden outside is good. Inside monument, you can feel peace and sit there for some time.

Else nothing is there. no need to plan trip to visit this only.

One should plan to visit Champaner area just end of Monsoon season. Views will be magnificent at that time.

After paying the entrance fee and seeing the first Masjid we ventured off the beaten track and came across the Nagina Masjid .........not a soul to enjoy it apart from the security guard .........and so much the better for it. I recommend that you follow the signs and don’t give up when the path gets narrower. You’ll be glad you persevered.

The final mosque we visited at Champener was the Nangina Mosque. It is situated not far from the Kevda Mosque and it is near the edge of the archaeological site.

Though it is quite small, art lovers will be repaid at this mosque by the exquisite stone-carving. The geometrical and vegetal motifs are rendered in remarkably fine detail.

Adventurers will like the Indiana Jones atmosphere inside the mosque, with sharp-toothed langgurs staring down from the second storey Temple of Doom style. They are territorial and will not be happy about your presence!

An added bonus here is that you can climb onto the roof of the mosque via two, tiny spiral staircases. Not for the claustrophobic but it's a lot of fun for everyone else.

We took a really really long walk to reach here through a dense vegatation, as we started to walk from Jami Masjid and decided to visit this after Kewada Masjid, probably not a good idea, you can walk your way here from Seher ki Masjid, small cars do come here but if dense vegetarian is there then possible to have scratches on the car. Do keep that in mind. Rest it is a good architecture, designs on pillars are good, minars are broken but masjid overall looks great.

Nagina Masjid is difficult to locate as it’s concealed inside the forest. After couple of unsuccessful attempts, we were able to reach Nagina Masjid. It’s an impressive architecture and one can actually reach the roof. Later we headed back to the town to fulfill the appetite and to Machi from where you get a cable car to Pavagadh hill.

Nagina masjid is the furthest of the mosques from the entry of Champaner park..also seemed the most deserted ( but that was its charm ! - no rush ).
Cars can reach till the entry ( its a better option to save time).

The mosque is made with white stone and has elegant carvings on the pillars.
The Islamic/Gujarati craftsmanship is still visible despite the restoration work done.

Along with Kevda and Jami Masjid, it is one of the remarkable sites in the area

It is called Jewel/Jem mosque located inside Agra Fort, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The mosque was used by women of the royal household, a luxurious bazaar called Minar Bazaar was just adjacent for shopping from balconies. The mosque was built with white marble and beautifully decorated.
It is an attraction of the Agra Fort and visited by many.
