Didnt know what to expect from Mountain Tours & Travels when we landed in Yuksom for a Goecha-La Trek, but the experience from our 1st day till we ended up in the airport has been absolutely amazing. Attention to detail on each and every aspect has been spot on. Whether it is the room in Yuksom, the Guide and whole team who were with us on this trek have been top class. We were spoilt with choices of tasty food, they genuinely cared for our well being considering this is an High Altitude trek. I would highly recommend MTT for your Goecha-La and any trek they are associated with. I am sure it will be an experience u will never forget in your life. Goechala Trek - High Altiture Trek - Out of the World experience ! We planned a 10 days solo trek ( my husband and myself ) with Mingma , Mountain Tours & Travels during April 2022 and our experience was so enriching that we want to do it all over again ! . Mingma gave us time and helped in planning the trek. Right from the time we landed in Bagdogra airport, everything was taken care of. We got the best guide - Passang who pitched our tents away from the regular crowd making us feel special and best chef- Sandeep. They became a family as we began our trek and took excellent care of us. The varieties of delicious food for lunch and dinner was unforgettable. The best part was when Sandeep baked cake on the stove on the day we completed Goechala Trek ! We travelled to Yuksom and went on the Phoek te Dara Trek with Mountain Tours. It was the most amazing trip we've had. I travelled with my 18 year old son and we were made comfortable and welcome right from when we landed at the airport. From the car sent to the hotel and homestays to the trekking experience, everything was personally taken care of by Migma and team and they ensured we had the perfect experience. Anything that we hadnt carried with us like a walking stick or duffle bag was immediately provided. The trekking team was experienced and for a first time trekker like me, they provided the perfect support. Our guide Kassang was discrete giving us our space and time together, but always alert and ready when help was needed. The food provided was tasty, fresh and served with a lot of love. I did Goechala Trek with Mountain tours and travels in the month of November. It was an amazing experience. The trek was very well planned. The staff provided to us was very experienced and supportive. The cook had done extensive study on the type of native food that we eat and the type of food required for that weather and prepared a nice blend of both. That gave a soothing and enriching experience in terms of meals. They also had nice arrangements for the camps that included more unique view points and freedom to roam around and enjoy ourselves without interruptions. They were always ready to help and assist us. They knew in and out of the trek. They also shared the tips and tricks to overcome the difficult parts of the trek. That made us feel empowered. And it was an amazing feeling of completing the trek and that would not have been possible without their support and coordination.…
