An impressive building that is exuding its long history; a visit is absolutely to be recommended and one should take his time to wander through the buildings and the garden; men feels humble when faced with this imposing building

If you are in Piedmont, I recommend a trip to Saluzzo. It is a very pretty town with lots of historical buildings to see. There is a bit of a climb to get to some of the places, such as the lovely San Giovanni church, but it is worth it, and the views are stunning. Nearby there is the Abbey... More

We have been to a lot of castles, churches and abbeys. This one is not a favourite. The road (from Torino) to it is dreary (we saw several hookers waiting by small farmer roads) and the abbey itself is not very glorious. Dark, sober (arcades have no carvings, lots of empty spaces with nothing to see) and a bit run... More
