Spotted this shop while making my holiday planning somewhere in May.
After a lovely lunch next door, we had a good look around, so many lovely things, so hard to choose from. But found what I spotted online, a post-box-birds-nest, which will look awesome in my garden.
Keep up the lovely range of gifts you have, we will surely return on our next holiday-trip to Scotland.

A group of 9 cyclists stopped here on Sunday. We hadn’t booked ahead and turned up towards the end of a busy lunchtime. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent including good options for the 2 vegans in our group. Will be back when next in the area.

Stopped off here with my wife this morning during our drive out in the countryside.
My wife was straight in there to have a look around, and I followed a little later!
Wide selection of giftware, cards, handbags, clothes, jewellery and artwork. Just about something for everyone. A lot of unusual gifts that you would be hard pushed to find elsewhere and prices to suit most pockets.
Definitely worth a look if you are in the area, but bring your purse/wallet because you will want to leave with something, as my wife did!

The Quirky Cuckoo is well worth a visit. It stocks a wide range of gifts, clothing and accessories. If you are looking for something a little bit different for yourself or to give as a gift, you won't be disappointed. There are also two excellent coffee shops nearby.

I have been buying gifts, homeware, clothing and cards from the quirky cuckoo for a few years now, and always recieve compliments on these purchases from friends and family. The owner, Karron has a such great taste, it's always exciting to see what new stock she has in. Christmas stock is also a must see for original ways to style your home (and for gifts I guess ;) ) for the festive period!

Happened on this shop when visiting the Pictish Stones. Bought a hilarious book on grandparenting (the shop was full of such gems). While completing my purchase and chatting about our visit, our lady informed me there was a "standing stone" nearby. We laughed when I said we'd been lost through most of our travels in Scotland. She gave me excellent directions to a most beautiful panorama of Scottish country and the stone.
This is a beautiful little shop with lovely treasures. Great fun to visit!

Thank you so much for taking the time out to write such a lovely review .I am so glad you enjoyed the ‘secret’ stone , it is worth the trip just for the views, the stone is just the cherry on the cake .... it was lovely to meet you both , kindest regards

We stopped off here on our way north for a Funeral the following day.
Quiet a friendly shop with lots items for gifts and crafts and household Nik Naks. Worth stopping off for a break from a long drive. We purchased some cards at very good price.

We've bought a few things from here. There are nice things for the house..... Quirky toys for younger kids, and there's nice items of clothing too. We'll head here if we need a gift for someone, old or young.

Lovely, quirky wee shop not far from us. Have already bought several items from here. Karron has a lovely variety of stock, ranging from gift cards, toys, jewellery and smaller items, to beautiful pictures and occasional furniture. Lots of really different bits of pieces, some quirky and retro. Just love this, shop with something for everyone. All different prices, gifts for all ages. Will be back, as previous reviewer said, you need plenty time to browse! Thanks again for reserving my picture! 😀

Hi Fiona 1564
Sorry for late response , Tripadvisor is a steeper learning curve than I thought , but slowly getting to grips with it !
It's heartwarming to read such a kind review & so happy to have such kind customers who support the shop . Hope you are still enjoying your fabulous painting . See you again soon
Warmest wishes
Karron
