A must place to visit in Coorg. Not to miss Kunguma Archana and dip in holy waters. Stay @ madikeri is not complete without Talakaveri. Recommended: Climb few steps for Eagle's View Visit to Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple [1 KM from Talakaveri]

This place is suitable for family and it is recommended to visit a week after the monsoon. During summer or winter, this place will be dry and there is nothing interesting other than the starting place of river cauvery and the hill view.

The road to this place will not be suitable during the monsoon season. It is better to visit after the monsoon. Google says this the contact number of the temple 096862 57104, you may try your luck.

No not inside this temple as per my knowledge.Even if you wear shorts then you need to wear a dhoti with that. You can park your car just in front of the temple where your pet can stay in the car.
