I have given this place a 2 star review for the following reasons: I played here in 2022 and now in 2023. Most of the fairways still very sparse with grass, lot of muddy type fairways. They need to overseer to present decent fairways. The bunkers are never raked, it seems. The worst experience was we called the club house to make sure they turned on the hot water for a shower after the round. Guess what, they didn’t, just like in 2022, when I played here. So I had to take cold water shower In Bangalore after a round of golf. It just took the fun out of playing golf. The staff here really don’t seem to care, I guess it is a result of poor management. They boast of golfers like Nicolette saying great stuff but they run this place pretty shoddily. Now the good stuff. They do have the best bent grass greens in all of India. Their par 3s are simply the best and challenging. The course layout is really good. If they want to be considered as a premier high end golf course, they need to oversee the fairways, have running hot water for guests both for washing or taking a shower after golf and speed up restaurant service so guests don’t have to wait for 15 minutes for a cup of tea, I must say, though, the tea was really good. I would give this course a four star rating once they make the fairways full of grass and have running hot water, now that’s not too much of an ask. If you intend to play golf here and plan to take a shower before you leave, remember, you won’t get hot water.

My friend and me (76 and 74 years of age ) are keen golfers from England. We visit Bangalore once every six months purely to play golf. We have visited most of the courses in Bangalore. In April 2016 one of our friends took us to Zion Hills Golf Resort.
Since then we have been visiting Zion Hills regularly.
Zion Hills provide excellent Villa for Visitors who would like to “Stay and Play”. The price is very reasonable and the accommodation is very comfortable.
All the facilities needed for a foreign traveller are available in the Villa. Immediate help is available, if needed.
The young Caddies are trained to guide the players with directions and swing. Their coaching has helped us to improve the game.
Caddy support is one of the strong points of the resort.
Zion Hills is one of the best courses in Bangalore and the designer has put lot of thoughts into it, considering various levels of players.
The hospitality of the staff and the Friendly atmosphere makes the place a second home for the guests.
I have stayed in different golf courses in Europe and India. I found Zion Hills very reasonable and competitive with some big resorts, particularly for the high standard of service provided.
Normally golfers in UK travel to Europe, for their breaks. The travel time is 6 to 7 hours from England. The Flight time to India is around 9 to 10 hours. The difference is worth for the additional benefits and standard of service.
It is a Natures Gift for golfers of the world.

Nice place to hang out for a short weekend break. Villas with 2-4 bedrooms available at reasonable costs. Food is a little expensive for the quality. Service is lacking due to inadequate staff. Great golf course

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy a mid-week overnighter with a group of girlfriends at Zion Hills Golf Resort, and I recommend it highly as a wonderful, relaxing short getaway from Bangalore. Just being among its green and beautifully-landscaped environs was a huge stress-reliever and the quiet and calm that we were surrounded by was balm to our frazzled urban souls.
We stayed at a large, well-appointed bungalow with three large and comfortable bedrooms (although it must be said that they were hardly used, what with us chatting into the wee hours in the cosy living room, brewing many pots of chai in the fully-fitted-out kitchen!). Earlier in the evening, the restaurant staff had brought us a lovely dinner to the bungalow itself, which was a nice and unexpected bonus.
When the sun is up, though, it would be a shame to hang out indoors. The restaurant at Zion Hills has no walls, and there is no bad spot around the table - no matter where you sit, your view is a vista of green. The menu is small, but competent, and we enjoyed the food and the prompt and smiling service very much indeed.
We also got to enjoy a tour of the campus, with a knowledgeable guide. Although none amongst us plays the sport, we came away with an appreciation of the kind of work it takes to maintain a great golf course, and were delighted to note all the sustainability and social initiatives Zion had incorporated right from the outset - the promoters certainly have their hearts in the right place!
All in all, it was a great 36 hours at Zion Hills. But don't take my word for it - do go and experience it for yourself!

Charming well maintained villas set in the greens. The only place near Bangalore that offers golf and lawn tennis! Paradise for sporting enthusiasts. Family friendly staff. They found some valuables that my aged mother in law had absent-mindedly left behind and ensured it reaches us! Would definitely go back.

Zion was the ideal weekend getaway ! We were spoilt by the entire team of Zion with Sridhar & Avinash (GM) , making sure it was a smooth run , inspite of the small hiccups. Considering the place is fairly new , there are a few teething issues , which will pan out soon enough.
Golf buggy’s are in high demand & one needs to have patience else walk. The villa we stayed at , needed a kettle, microwave & other items , which was arranged almost immediately by Shreya & Ravi from F&B.
Being away from main town ,, the food can be restricted & yet Chef Srinivas , makes sure he creates some interesting meals. Chef Raju gave us a surprise with his onion ring stuffed with mozzarella cheese , an absolute delight!
A golfing community , with most home owners renting out their villa’s -an old concept moulded within a Golfing frame. An energy that spells positivity from the resort , the staff & a few home owners , who are living there. Watching the Golfing academy kids practice , their presence within Zion , adds pizzazz.
Walking , Cycling , watching the birds create their own music & the complete silence in the evening’s - the peace and serene environment that makes this an ideal place to visit.
Thank you Team Zion for a wonderful experience.
