Tuljapur is a holy place for whole Maharashtra. The reason why i am giving poor rating is the system, the darshan system is the worst. No hygiene is maintained. Everywhere dustbins are overflowed with dirt and gross things. Atleast in temple we expected cleanliness but we got the worst. No cleanliness. It seems the constitution doesn't care abt devotees except their money. Very disappointed from the system the offered

Highly powerful temple as per corresponding of Hindu devotees situated at Tuljapur, Osmanabad dist of Maharashtra state in India.
This temple said to be one among 51 Shakthi peethas of India and religiously worshipping by millions of devotees.
Spacious premises, in muddle tiny sanctum Santorum in which main goddess worshipped with great devotion.
Admin has made routine arrangements where in holidays, festivals will become too crowded.
Touts and unofficial priests can witness every where in temple premises luring devotees to arrange a quick Darshan by paying some money to them.
Here special Darshan can be availed at 200 INR per head but no proper indication or entry / exit measures.
Temple administering authority need to monitor 'in temple premises movement of unauthorized persons", to save revenue to temple in an official way other than bribing touts for darshan

The famous 12th century Temple located in Tuljapur 40 km from Solapur in Maharashtra is said to be one of the 51 Shakti pitas across the sub continent.
I visited this place with my friends, I felt so much blessed. Extremely peaceful place. Lots of visitors. Many shops near by to buy sweets and restaurants to have a good meal. Yevle tea shop serves great tea, a must try.
Note: Pass is must before entering the temple. Pass is provided free of cost - paid option is also not available.

Most amazing temple i have seen recently. Right from the entrance and steps till we reach the sanctum place... this temple is a fortress. The very fact that Veer shivaji got the sword from Goddess bhavani is sure to send goosebumps ! Heavily crowded and takes detailed time out !

After getting free pass at around 4 AM in the morning, me and my elderly parents entered the temple and it was absolutely mesmerizing ...We were immediately transported to the 12th Century.. The beautiful surroundings with the oldest tress and birds chirping on them..the Gomukh Tirth and the beautiful temple was all so powerful and divine that I was lost in it for hours..it represents the historic time of the Great Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his bond with Mata Bhavani..I will definitely visit the abode of my Kuldevi once a year..
Be careful of the Poojari's waiting outside the temple that convince you to get the Pooja done by them, some of them quoted really hefty amounts varying in figures and some quoted really less.
They are not allowed to do the Pooja or offer saree and oati to devi maa..
We met one poojari outside the temple who convinced us to pay him 550 rs for Pooja and told us to arrive in the temple with free pass early morning. After arriving in the temple at 6 am we waited for 4 hours until 10 am for him to do the Pooja , he promised to take us 5 feet closer to Mata Bhavani's idol which was all false.we were made to stand on the other side where the idol was not visible the saree and oati was not accepted by the main Poojaris and we were shoved out immediately.
Luckily my mom happened to get enough darshan of devi as she stood right in front of her where she was visible..my parents were extremely tired that day because of all the waiting.
He also told us to pay 100rs. Per person for food but the food quantity was really less and I had to take my parents out to a restaurant which by the way was very inconvenient to find out while eating that the food is not enough and was a total waste of money.
Avoid these problems by avoiding such people there are plenty of restaurants that offer thali for 100/- Rs. with sufficient food and good quality..
It was pleasantly chilled in the month of Jan.
Except summers Please ensure to carry a few light sweaters if traveling with elderly and keep some medications and ointments handy to kill pain as standing in the queue of 4 floors for 4 hours is very painful in the morning.
The temple still holds the charm from its ancient time and has immensely powerful spiritual vibrations.
The distance for darshan is 15 feet from the idol after standing in the queue for 4 hours during peak hours, so please decide if it's worth your time before visiting.
Solapur is 40 kms away from Tuljapur.
Request you to keep the surroundings clean of this holy abode of Maharashtra's Kuldevi..
Jai Maa Bhavani🙏❤️

This famous 12th Century Temple located in Tuljapur 40 km from Solapur in Maharashtra is said to be one of the 51 shakthi pithas across the sub continent. State buses takes you there from Solapur in just under an hour. Take an auto for 30 RS.and alight near the temple. Paid darshan at rs. 100 and 200 apart from free darshan are available.
Temple has two entrances Mahadwar in front and rear is built in a plain from mountain ridge climbing down. The paid que complex and the temple premises are not well maintained. Darshan is allowed in front of the deity less than a minute owing to thronging crowd in que. It takes 2 to 3 hours for 100 RS. paid darshan on normal days.
Food outside the temple and near the bus stand seems not to be of satisfactory standard and families visiting better carry own food or refreshments. Fruits, juice, tea, lassi can be had there.

This holy place has immense pleasure and treat to visitors. This place can be explored who loves history, someone who has interest in ancient mythology, someone wants to see old architectural constructions apart from orthodox pilgrimage

Many pilgrims walk from their own place. If you are staying far too long, then may be you can come to solarpur and from there you can be part of many group who will be chanting and going towards tulzapur by walk.

Can we offer garlands, flowers, bangles to Devi? Will they take and put on maa's murti?

Yes, you may offer. They present these to the goddess. But if the moorthy is already full, the priests just touch the gifts to get and may may brush them aside.Depends on your luck and timing.

Yes it’s start from 4 AM
Is there a priority for abhishek given to officers from armd forces like most other big temples.
