Its now just a roadside brickwork, standing alone and unimpressive. It stands as Ekaant.The picture itself speaks a million words about lack of maintenance and gross neglect. When will we be responsible enough to preserve such things.

As the name suggests this is the execution site for the convicted prisoners. These days it is not open to the visitors. In case you're visiting to Bankura, this is a place you should come across while traveling around.

Execution room or Grannary - nobody knows for sure. However this monument stands pretty close to the Rani Bandh area in Bishnupur.

As the name suggests, this seems like an omnious place which you can just pass by on the way to other monuments. Anyone who had to be punished would be encased within these walls and be never seen again. Gives a creepy feeling just walking...More
