Viewed from Gajner Palace, the lake, just beside the palace, is big but not massive or deep. Quite a few spots abound for clicks, views & selfies.

we had a trip to the lake area with a family group. The 30 minutes boat ride you enjoy the sound of water, birds humming sound at one area, enjoy the shadow of the palace in water and the sun set view is also beautiful.

Gajner fort is beautifully sited along marvelous lake of Gajner. The fort was Constructed in red stone and the has been converted into a heritage hotel. It has neatly arranged rooms around large courtyards.
Has a bar, restaurant, lots of greenery.
The outdoor seating of the restaurant along the lake is worth spending an evening.
A must visit place while in Bikaner.

This is less than hours drive from Bikaner. And provides you with the feel of an oasis. The lake and the palace by the side is beautiful. The maintenance though could have been better.

The Gajner Lake is located adjacent to the Gajner palace which has now been converted to a hotel. The lake itself is quiet nice and beautiful. It is located about 40 kms from Bikaner and unless one is staying at the hotel it can be given a miss.

Viewed this from the nearby hotel. Variety of ducks and birds were around in the early morning which was surprising as wedding music was playing until 6am from across the other side of the lake.
