Nanda Devi temple at Munsiyari is located at around 3 kilometres from the Munsiyari town at the outskirts, on a hillock above the main road. The trek to this small, single room temple is easily doable. An ex-serviceman there acts as the priest of the temple and also runs a small restaurant. Though not a big one, still it is worth visiting since there are not many other activities to do at Munsiyari.

Located in the heights of Munsiyari and surrounded by jungle, it is a good temple with neat and clean exterior.

Wonderful view all around. The view of the snow clad mountains glittering in the sun is electrifying. One can walk around after visiting the temple of Mata Nanda Devi. Ideal place for photography fans to hone their skills.

The pics on the internet were stunning. That's why we included it in our itinerary.
We visited the park after doing a trek at Khaliya Top in the evening around 5.15pm...We parked our car on the road side and then a 5 mins walk took us to the temple. We could not see Panchchuli peaks as it was hazy, however, the sunset was spectacular. We clicked a lot of good pics of the sun going down. There is a small canteen which serves tea and snacks. The canteen guy also provides tents for camping at night and stay. Temple closes by 7 pm.
Overall, a nice place where one can sit and relax while enjoying the views around. Cameras are allowed, no charges.

You will get some great views from the Nanda Devi temple. Besides the views, the place had some vibes which is difficult to express, just experience it. A must visit in Munsiyari.

Just distance away from Munisyari village it is and with few easy climbing on stairs.
Only place at Munsiyari to visit it is which gives some what good view of Mountains.
Some good time to spent here whereas now not very well maintained as place is loosing charm being not properly maintained and tourist leaving their garbage all around on ground.
Plantation of small plants having beautiful flowers makes this place good and plus having open view of Mountain.
2 to 3 hrs can be spent easily at this place and families can enjoy when weather is favorable as many times cloudy it becomes and so Mountain view goes missing.
