Lot of water sports r available there. Did most of them. Rates r much more cheaper than in goa. U can enjoy the beach as near the island it's less deep , according to high tide n low tide. Kids enjoyed a lot . They were running all over. Great experience. Small stalls sell tea, gavachi dos, memos, pavs

On 24 October 2017 we were on Tsunami island. There me and my son took the package of water sports. We were on a banana ride when a Jetski hit us. There were no safety measures there. No life guard, no first aid kit, nothing. Also the Jetski was neither registered nor insured. All illegal business. My son and me were shifted to Goa as there was no advanced hospital who can treat my son. We were out of Pune till January 2018 due to this accident. I am sharing this because I don't want anybody else to go through the nightmare through which we have gone. Afterall life is very precious. I have seen it because my son has suffered a lot due to the carelessness of watersport owners on Tsunami island. Please take care of yourself. Thank you.

This island was build in 2004 after the tsunami attack.
If you going to tarkarli then this is a must visit place as lot of watersports happen here. Jetski is really famous here along with other enjoyment stuff.

This is an amazing island almost 500m wide, and has water level of just 1-2 feet. So you can just keep walking in the middle of sea and have fun. all the water sports available here. If you visit here, you will skip Goa (except for the booze)

Aaah place, ferry takes 300 rupees for a group of 6+, as we reached we couldn't resist our temptation to jump into water and play n have fun. We reached at 4PM and it was awesome. you get quick bites like Omlets, Sandwich and Dosa w/ Chutney awesome to have breakfast in morning.
This is the place to go for all activities except scuba.

We just loved this place. A different experience. I have travelled abroad but nothing can beat this experience. You are in knee deep water throughout. The water sports are completely enjoyable.
Scuba diving
Parasailing
Paragliding
Banana ride
Bumper ride
Speed boats
And many many more
A must visit especially with kids
Cons: if you are very hygiene conscious then this place isn’t for you. Mind you there are no toilets as you are in the middle of the sea, like a island but with water everywhere. Not recommended if you have small infants, this place does not have enough sitting area. Elderly people too should avoid esp if you don’t want to stay in water. You can’t escape being wet if you come here. There is water just everywhere. Even when you get off the boat, you have to walk through water just everywhere.

The places all over malvan are good. Same with this place. You can relax amidst nature.
Sad part is the stock of water sports activities that have high rate charts, you can bargain to lesser value during off peak times. Better just walk around the place.

Reasonable rates and fun rides with a unique concept of activities being done where the river meets the sea, makes it a 1 time visit , especially with nothing else which is very exciting to do in Malvan area.

What is the cost for stay at Tsunami Island? For per person or for per family? And whats about food?
Written 13 October 2016
Depends on which resort you stay put. On an average there are a lot of small resorts which they call "Nyahari Niwas". Its a small built up space with chain of rooms with TV and AC which is good if you don't want to have something lavish. By the way there are no lavish resorts there. May be just a couple but not sure of their service standards. I would recommend these rooms over.
So room stay should cost you around 1000/- to 2000/- per room per couple. They ideally don't charge for kids. However check.
Food - All these small resorts provide excellent food. Fish is the best, but even chicken mutton and veg thalis are also awesome. Go for it. Food would cost you like
Veg Thali - 150/-
Fish Thali - 300/- depending on the fish
Chicken Thali - 200 - 250
Enjoy

You need to take a boat from Devbagh....
You will have to start latest by 7 am and only after 8 - 8:30 am, you will able to land on tsunami island (as becoz it is generally covered by water, before that time).... It takes around one and a half hours for all the rides....
You dont have to contact any company.... You can ask anyone on the island and they will tell you whom to contact.... Everyone charges the same, so not to worry....
Each sport costs around Rs.300 - 500 per person.... They even gives a package of 5 rides at Rs.800/- per person.... They generally dont bargain....
You can get in touch with Panduranga (cell # +917798100713).... He took us for the boat ride and showed us 5 points in the sea, along with dolphins.... He was very friendly and told us all the historical and unknown details about the place.... He took Rs.1500/- for around 3 hours....
This much I can tell you, we had a fabulous experience....
