A really beautiful place. Very well maintained. Clean and peaceful. We had a poojari-ji tell us the whole story of Krishna's death here and that just made the trip more memorable.

Bhalka teerth is the place where Dwaparyug got ended. This location is sacred as lord Krishna left for heavenly abode from here. The temple is located on way to Somnath from Porbandar side.

One can park the car near temple as i could not saw any dedicated parking lot. The temple is bit crowded as most of the devotees who visit Somnath come here. There are few banyan trees in complex of temple. Shri Krishna idol inside temple is worth looking continuously for few minutes. One can see the satisfaction on Shri krishnas face as he has completed all his duties for which he has taken Krishna Avatar in Dwaparyug.

This is the holy place where Lord Krishna was hit by the arrow and his final resting place... this is a must-visit place when in Somnath and it's just a travel of 10/15 minutes depending on traffic

We visited Bhalka Tirth in evening the temple was closed between 6.30-7.30 pm , the gate opened at 7.30 pm and one person was checking temperature, no rush in temple , you can take photos inside the temple . The Lord Krishna statue is very beautiful in resting pose , the Lord left his body after his death as an arrow hit his leg while he was taking rest under the tree ..
