Definitely worth a visit. Lovely gardens to enjoy nearby with lovely views of the viaduct and a pleasant walk along the small country towns Main Street adds interest to your visit. So take the time to detour off the freeway, stop and enjoy the sights!!

For history lovers this is well worth a wander from the main township. A lovely photo opportunity also.

Drove through Malmsbury on the way to Melbourne and as you come over the small bridge into town the viaduct is view is like landing in old England. You need to walk up to get a great view but it's worth it

Just off the main street you will see a road that will take you right down to the bottom of this spectacular bridge. Looking up to it the stone is beautiful.

Read about the viaduct and was unsure. Totally surprised, the walk through the gardens was beautiful and there it is, couldn't believe how perfect it was, still in great condition, this is definitely a must visit

This is a quintessential viaduct and a real feature of the town. The water underneath is a brilliant swimming spot in the summer too.

Anything that is free is great in my opinion. This old viaduct is no exception. Great place to get a photo after exploring the beautiful botanical gardens

The viaduct is in the botanic gardens at the edge of town. It's an impressive structure as you can see from the photos. At the end of the day, though, it's a viaduct. Don t go out of the way to visit.

5 handsome arches, constructed from local bluestone makes this railway bridge a must see when visiting Malmsbury. Just 1 hour from Melbourne and the beautiful botanic gardens to enjoy a picnic or one of the local cafes - this edifice is well worth the visit. Go an have a look at the bridge in Taradale and experience construction feats from... More

If you are driving or on a train between Melbourne and the goldfield areas of Castlemaine or Bendigo, you should look out for this architectural marvel. Malmsbury town itself is a pleasant place to stop with a number of heritage buildings along the main street. The best view of the viaduct is from the lower end of the Botanical Gardens,... More
