After seeing the sand sculptures 2 years ago we decided to revisit and we were not disappointed. Each year seems to have a different theme and this year it was related to epic films. They do a wonderful job and the sculptures are amazing. I...More

These sculptures are amazing; they are so life like and a lot of time and effort must have gone into sculpting them. Well worth a visit combined with a cable car ride.

During our weekend stay in Valkenburg, we booked tickets for Christmas in Mergelrijk. It was rather a climb to reach but we enjoyed in all fullness. We liked the workshop building somthing from stone as well

we went to here during christmas market. I think it's better for children. Funny sculptures, good to see, but 7 eur worth? I'm not sure.
