There's really not much bad to say about this museum. The collection is amazing and extensive; I'd even say it's on par with some of the National Roman Museums in Rome as far as the breadth and quality of the collection. Though extensive, the collection is not too overwhelming; considering how much material has been unearthed in the city, this... More

The cost of 3 euros to see the displays in the museum are a steal. The exhibits are over 4 floors. The lowest floor has excavations of Roman houses and part of a Roman road. The exhibits are well laid out and displayed. Most of the exhibits are from the local ruins.

An absolute jewel, not so well known because us spaniards lack a lot of marketing :-) But definitely a place worth going whether you are a passionate for history or not.

This is an excellent museum with a huge collection of pieces. The main concourse alone is so impressive, with huge archways and columns, mimicking the Roman style. I particularly loved the mosaic pieces!! Definitely worth visiting.

This stunning building houses a first class collection of Roman relics. I only wish we had allowed for more time for the visit.

I love this museum. The architecture is perfect for the collection, with brickwork echoing that created by the Romans. The mosaics are displayed on the walls, and as you go from floor to floor you get a really good look at this amazing art. There is plenty to look at, all displayed beautifully. Completely worth the money.

This is very imposing and impressive with lots of light and space. Although it has lots of large statues and sculptures I found the small personal items even more interesting. It's a very formal museum as museums on the continent often are - the staff walked around in twos, I suppose to protect the place, but they didn't engage with... More
