Beside the Cathedral is the very large Tio Pepe Winery belonging to the Bodegas Gonzalez Byass. Manuel Maria Gonzalez found the winery in 1835 with his London agent, Robert Blake Byass. Today this is one of the largest wineries in Jerez and you can take...More

If you like looking at barrels this is the tour for you. Two hours of mind numbing repetitious drivel that should be described in twenty minutes at most. In effect you pay 12.5 E for a commercial on the virtues of the Gonazales-Byass enterprise and...More

While visiting Jerez decided to visit a bodega. Sandeman decided not to hold their advertised tour so we made our way to Gonzales Byass (Tio Pepe) where we purchased two tickets for 31euros for a tour of approximately an hour plus a couple of sherry...More

Nonsense information. You don't get to know about the difference among the sherries or wines they produce, or how they do the bottling and distribution. In fact, you don't get to learn anything. We bought the more expensive tour, close to $50 US dollars, with...More

We visited Bodegas Tio Pepe whilst in Cadiz. The Bodegas is fascinating with its combination of old traditional building beside modern ones. The one thing that has stayed the same is the way that they make their Sherry. We learnt a so much when we...More

Lovely tour. Very informative tour with knowledgable guides talking about the history and the products produced. Location is a short walk from the centre of Jerez and the tasting at the end of the tour was fun.

The tour includes only an excursion in the old cellars. The vineyards are located some 20 km away from the town.
