Generally the site of the tourist information centre there is not very much to see. The garden is pleasant. Probably gives an idea to how the homes of the wealthy were structured. Not able to visit rooms or go upstairs. There are free toilets however.

Must be one of the most architecturally impressive Tourist Offices. Gives a good interpretation of the entire region. Nice walled garden and exhibits.

Arrived in Caceres on Sunday afternoon, and were pleasantly surprised to find everything open for visits. So unusual for Spain. Good to begin your visit to Caceres at the Palace of Carvajal where you get an overview of the old town, the ramparts, gates and buildings to spend time in. Plan no less than two days in Caceres; there is... More

We came here because it seemed to be one of the few palaces that you could look around in Caceres. Unfortunately, we visited at a time when most of the rooms were closed. The only things we could see were the model of Caceres, which someone spent thousands of hours making - absolutely brilliant thought - and the central interior... More

This is a large building with an interesting model of the city in the entrance that took one guy over 10,000 hours to make. The garden and inner courtyard are very attractive, especially at night with few people about. There is also a tourist information desk here and a small chapel, but the highlight is the architecture itself. At the... More
