The Museum of Nursing History in Kolding is the only professional museum on nursing in Denmark. The museum conveys the history of nursing and health care from the Middle Ages until today. The museum is housed in an old tuberculosis sanatorium with a beautiful view over Kolding Fjord. Here you can see how a hospital ward was arranged and how nursing was done.

We found this museums looking at the things to do list on trip advisor. The history of nursing, and the use of the building g as a sanatorium is explained in an excellent Manor using models, costumes and much memorabilia. I loved it.

A very interesting museum, which tells the history very well, as well as having some great exhibits. Great if you are interested in nursing.

Good collection of medical aids, instruments and other items from old hospitals. Very interesting, and you will feel privileged by the things we have nowadays.

Not quite what I expected - much more interesting actually :) beautiful surroundings, and if you Can get a guided tour, certainly make that choice.
