We visited to se the exhibition called The Splendour of Power. It was absolutely fantastic. Jewelleries from 13th century to modern day. Very well presented and interesting.

Very incessant place. Castle is big and you can easily lost. Gorgeous view on the top of castle. The best was tailor's workshop where you can wear dresses from past years and get some pictures. It's fun! But on weekends only.

I didn't even get a chance to explore this castle or ask a few questions. The EXTREMELY RUDE Security guard (mid 50s, short grey hair, 175cm(max), slight beer belly, round tortoise shell glasses) basically told me to leave and get off the grounds the second...More

This museum/castle was brilliant. The restoration on the inside is made of beautiful wood walkways. Plenty of activity areas to entertain children but the best room by far is the one containing many types of royal jewels. Definitely worth the visit

A Danish royal castle dating from 1268, but burnt down during the Napoleonic wars in 1808. Restored in 1991, now exhibits collections of furniture, paintings ceramics, and Danish Design silver. They also have smaller exhibitions of various themes throughout the year.

so much to see. As well as the building itself there are numerous exhibitions on danish design, royal jewellery, etc. The part where they have refurbished the walls and added gangways and impressive wooden pillars. You can easily spend hours here. There is a cafe...More

Really impressive sight. History hides in every corner and is well preserved. The ruin has, with respect for the history been rebuild in a fashion where it’s clear what’s the original building and what’s new supporting structures. I’ll highly recommend it to anyone, even disabled...More
