Grew up next to this Museum and I absolutely love it. It's simple, clean and features some great Danish contemporary art, including local born artist, Michael Kvium. It's surrounded by a lovely park as well, and definitely worth a visit. It's relatively small in size, so it don't take up your entire day.

I have been to the Horsens Art Museum a number of times during my many visits to that fine city. Although its collection is small compared to many museums, it has a sampling of Danish contemporary art, including a fine collection of work by the Danish painter Michael Kvium. I live close to Horsens Art Museum and I often visit the museum. It is a small but bright museum with great exhibitions from both local, Danish and foreign artists. There is a small museum shop and a café. Go visit the art museum, you will have a great time there.

We visited Horsens Art Gallery last week and it was a lovely experience. The art is very interesting and thought provoking, some of the exhibits have explanations in English as well as Danish.
