I prefer this area for the quiet and serene sound of the water travelling and disagreeing with stone. I observed it in the mornings when it was relatively still, the daytime when it starts to get windy and even when it rained and it was a very relaxing experience for me. Try it for yourself and see how it makes... More

Plenty of bars and night life in the Paceville district but quieter areas too. Andrew's bar was a favourite with us as we could sit over looking the beach and watch the world go by.

Small bay that is not that overly impressive. Hundreds of small buoys floating which gives an impression that there is litter floating in the bay. Lots of seaweed washed onto the shore which did not add to the visual appearance of the area

perfect for an evening stroll or sitting on the beach chilling out. still plenty of eateries & small bars of the more traditional Malteses style ringing the area

Has the attraction of the nightlife to one side or a quieter part depending on your preference. Always seems to have people on the beach (even at night), but beautiful to look at if your hotel has a sea view

Just plonk yourself down on the beach and admire the scenery and watch the world go by. Plenty of places to eat and shop if you get bored of lounging around in the sun in an idyllic setting. Thoroughly recommended 🖒

The road follows the shoreline and is very busy with many buses and commercial vehicles. The beach is reasonably clean but the sand is gritty and not soft. There are several nearby restaurants.

We passed St.George's Bay several times during our visit, stopping off on a couple of occasions. The main road round the bay is very busy being on the route from Valetta out to the north. There are several coffee bars / restaurants overlooking the bay, - including a Costa outlet which offer a pleasant place to sit and observe the... More

This is a small bay surrounded now by hotels, bars pubs and lots of nightlife. Also a great deal of building work underway for more of the same. Not a bad location for getting around to the rest of the island. Be prepared for lots of noise and joviality from the bars and other entertainment sources. Will keep you young... More

Beautiful bay to walk around, Lots of cafe's and restaurants to stop at, relax and admire the views. Quite exposed and windy in January but would definitely recommend.
