It's my first visit, but not my last. A beautiful island with all that I wish fore when traveling with my son. Beaches, food, amusement, shopping, city, all in one. Malta has it all! The only minus was that in April the sun isn't so...More

Stayed in Corinthia, great hotel and well located... close to valetta and the main places... the bay is a great place to spend the day lunch or dinner.

Took a walk from St Julian's Bay to St George's Bay. Very busy beach abd charges for a beach bed were anything from €10 upwards.

One would expect a better beach in St Julian. This is a small and crowded sandy beach, water gets full of sand. It has good restaurants though.

The bay is great, beach can get overcrowded as it is only small. Not much parking availability, but plenty of bars, restaurants etc. A very lively place

Clean beach. Great facilities including public transport. Some restaurants a bit pricier than others so check before you sit.

It is small, but beaches are rare on Malta. Although it is man made, it is quite decent, and has the benefit of a fairly modern town around it. There are plenty of places to eat.

This area was very close to our accomodation, we enjoyed daily walks along the water to a coffee bar or restaurant. One of our favourite places in Malta

Hi first time to Malta: we love to swim in the ocean and need recommendations for places to stay. The Corinth hotel on the bay has some good deals but it seems like the bay would not be good for long swims. Any suggestions. Is Gozo Island a better place to stay?

There are no good spots to have a good long swim except as you point out Gozo but the currents are strong
