Dragonara Casino, the number one casino in Malta, is owned and operated by Dragonara Gaming Limited. The Dragonara Casino is housed within the majestic Dragonara Palace and has been operating since 1964 offering a unique gaming and entertainment destination 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Dragonara Casino is conveniently located within the St. Julian’s are featuring 250 slot machines, 15 live tables, a premier poker room overlooking the St. George’s Bay, a VIP-Lounge for high-roller private gaming, a Sports Lounge and one of Malta’s top rated restaurants. Dragonara Gaming Limited took over the operation of the Dragonara Casino in 2010 and since then has invested over €25 Million in the property. The Casino underwent a major investment upgrade project earlier in 2016 propelling the property into the ranks of the most prestigious and pristine gaming properties in the Mediterranean.

Situated on the tip of the ‘Tad-Dragun’ promontory in St Julian’s the Dragonara Palace is one of Malta’s most extraordinary and imposing private properties built in the classical style almost as a grand romantic folly. Built in 1870 as the summer residence of the Marquis Scicluna the Dragonara Palace opened as Malta’s first Casino in 1964. The Dragonara Casino was one of the first major projects to establish Malta as a prime tourist destination. The Palace is a landmark property in Malta surrounded by a colonnaded veranda that abuts directly onto the sea. It retains many of the original architectural and interior design features, which have been successfully adapted to the requirements of casino patrons.

Lovely outside with lights seen all over St. Julian's. Inside is quite small with the smoking sections blocked off with sliding doors, which was nice. First timers receive a free drink. Be sure to bring your passport to be allowed entry.

Nice casino, different atmosphere from what I'm used to in the US but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Enjoyable night out.

Mobility access by outside lift when needed. Card games, Slot machines, bar, terrace restaurant. Restaurant wanted cash only & made us go to office to pay for meal with a card, consequently our statement said we'd used the money for gambling not eating and would not believe otherwise. We were not too happy about that.

You can smoke in the smoking rooms full of air con. The only down side of this casino they charge you 6 euro for a pint of lager and it is the local one. Very expensive for a casino.

The Casino is in a nice building and has a restaurant and a bar. The place is not too big and has a few small halls other than the main entrance hall. The place is not too intimidating for people that were never before in a casino. Thus it can be a nice way to spend an evening. Betting on... More

Great casino, nice atmosphere, like a mini Caesar's Palace. Friendly service but unlike Vegas drinks aren't free if your gaming. Good fun.
