Friday morning dog walk, freezing but pleasant. Looking forward to a nice cup of hot coffee, got to the cafe at 11.30 only to find it locked up, very disappointed, but this doesn’t detract from the parks natural beauty.

A beautiful park, I walk with my dog and friends quite often it’s clean with areas of open grassland and tree areas with the many lakes all perfectly positioned. Many Swans, Cormorants, Geese, Ducks, gulls and birds far too many to mention.

Great place for walking, running, going with kids to feed the birds and chatting with other great people who go there. Ideal for all ages. Disabled parking and toilets and cafe as you drive in.

I don’t believe it shuts as such, the only thing that may not be open is the little cafe and toilets but I believe the top car park isn’t gated and neither are the footpaths.
