Spectacular waterfall. A must see if you come this way. I reccommend the hike in the river valley so you can see the waterfall from below

If you like hiking go and check this place out! It is a short hike but your legs will feel the pace. The view is just stunning. There are very few tourists so you can make good photos.

The hike to the bottom was challenging, but very worth it!!! And the view from the top at Fossli Hotel was stunning.

This waterfall is great, the rush of water creates not just water vapour but also a huge rush of constant wind as the water falls. It's a real experience being so close to it.

Really impressive waterfall. Good boardwalk around the viewing places. I was lucky as the sun came out creating a rainbow above the water.

From the Nature Center in Eidfjord, we traveled to the hotel and Falls at Voringsfossen. Although quite packed with tourists visiting from the cruise ships in town, we walked around the fenced areas overlooking the cliffs where the Falls were visible. The Falls are magnificent...More

Sorry we were only four and had a rental car. You could try renting a van from where you will be. The driving is easy and roads are well marked.

When we were there in July the accessible walkways had not all been completed. I suggest contacting the restaurant that is at the site or the Norwegian travel agency. When we went the side trails to get the best views of the... More
