This is apparently the second oldest museum in Sweden! The old king Gustav Vasa stayed here one night (before he was king) back in the 16th century! Historic place indeed and a good guided tour!

This building is located on a great place with a great view. It plays a interesting part in the Swedish history and you got a couple of great stories behind it. The coming Swedish king was hidden in the closet while the angry Danish Kings...More

LOVELY little cafe don't miss this if you visit Ornäs on the weekends (hours 10-15). Really friendly staff, lovely light warm ambiance. Great coffee and cakes made on the premises (we had the kladdkaka chocolate cake, coconut macaroons). Highly recommended and a real surprise to...More
