Staff were excellent, facilities were excellent. The video was a little long for the children who really just wanted to sample the chocolate, but it was still worthwhile.

A good inside to the story of chocolate.lots of reading although translation for English was provided. Tasting on the hour. A few bits of equipment to see and a comprehensive video presentation with audio translation. Limited viewing of an area of the factory. Very expensive high end chocolate shop at the end of the tour. Worth visiting if in the... More

This is an upmarket family run factory making hand crafted chocolates. There is a small museum with storyboards that leads to a cinema with an interesting half-hour film (there are English showings) that covers the production of chocolate from plant to end product. After that there is a viewing gallery where the staff can be seen finishing off hand made... More

Small chocolate factory worth a visit on a quiet day. The museum was interesting and had english translstions. A video was shown which went through the chocolate process which was informative. We got to watch some chocolate being made and a few tasters. Of course you leave via the gift shop. Chocolate is expensive but really very tasty! Visited with... More

Lovely museum. Great information boards with pictures and cartoons, English translation in beautifully presented books rather than laminated sheets. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Really interesting video which they put into English for us. Our children loved watching the people at work in the factory viewing gallery too - 3 types to making in the gallery seen. Chocolate tasted good... More

As someone else has said, the museum is small but it is such a nice thing to do. It is on the outskirts of Damville and parking is easy. It was a Wednesday afternoon in early June when my husband and I visited. The welcome was very gracious and polite. We bought tickets and were offered a chocolate each to... More

The museum is a little small. The video was very interesting...yes all about Cluizel chocolate....but still worth watching right through. Mini factory visit was fun to watch. Chocolates delicious. One for mature chocolate lovers, not really for the kids. D & K ( Australia)

The Michel Cluizel Chocolatrium is located about a ten minute's drive from Conches-en-Ouche, a charming little village that is a great place to stay with lots of stuff to do and other museums to visit. If you are a chocolate lover, you will love the Chocoatrium - a chocolate museum, how they make their choclate, how they source it with... More

Small musuem behind entrance basically consiting of three rooms. Video room, small exhibition all in French, then you go into the 3rd and final room where they show a small area of the factory with two ladies shaping chocolate. We were expecting to see more of the chocolate making and felt let down. We visited with our 6 yr old... More

Please note that the tour is closed during September 2012 whilst parts of the factory are undergoing a refit (fortunately we only had to travel for 20 minutes to reach it). Only the gift shop remains open at present. Their bars of milk chocolate with fine caramel pieces are particularly good.
