Close to Bangalore, nice hill top, good view on side. APTDC hotels are there to stay, apart from that couple of private place also there. Went for day trip, reach by 11, sunrise/set should be good for view, missed both. Nothing more to do, small...More

We started at ~05:00 from Bengaluru and reached by ~10:30. Stopped for some thattu-dosa breakfast on the way. Cozy, Windy, Not so crowded hill station. It was a good experience. It has around 4-5 hairpins only but with a good road. Parking spaces, Children's play...More

Horsley hill is just good for one time visit. There is not much to do. I m not sue why there are so much hype around it

This is a quick weekend gateway trip from Bengaluru. We liked the windy hill top view point, that's it! Apart from the view point there is nothing to explore.. You can find AP govt owned restaurant & hotel - cards & wallet money accepted here...More

This is absolutely pristine. We stayed at wild winds , holiday home of AP tourism. The hill is well maintained, the sunset and view pints give great views of the valley. Pleasant place.

By road it is around 135 kms from Tirupathi. Around 28 kms from Madanapalle. Nearest railway station is Madanapalle.

The closest bus station or railway station in Madanapalle. From there Horsley is about 50 kms. From Hyderabad, if you are planning to drive down, it will take no less than 9 hours. However, we drove down from Chennai.
