travelled with friends, may be our expectation was so high; all of our were upset by travelling this much distance for seeing this small hill area and very few accomodation facility. As far as travellers from Kerala is not worth visiting this place..

Horsely hills is good place. Route from Bengaluru-Mandanpalle-Horsely hills. Govt guest houses/cottages are good(should book rooms online, Aptdc.com) View point will be good in morning (fog) Food:At horsely hills is little expensive and quality of food is normal. Enjoy the trip.

Nice place for a one day trip. We started from Bangalore in between we have visitedYogi Narayana Mutt, Amaranarayana Swamy Temple, Thathayya Cave, Kailasagiri Hill and then reached Horsley Hills. we spent around 2 hours there and returned back to Bangalore.

Horslay hills can be done in one day and staying there is not required and you can stay there just to spend a peacful weekend. Carry your own drinking stuff if you are planning to peacful sip.
