Well worth a visit on a calm nice day, drive out from Dannevirke or come up from Weber but be prepared for gravel/dirt road and be careful walking down the track make sure your not alone it's quite remote, but spectacular.

Yes, the road is long and windy to get there, but what a reward! These falls are exhilarating. The track down is steep, but the notice board warns exactly what to expect, so no surprises there. Well worth the trip

go out here quite a bit love waterfalls :-) was great when in flood could see the mist for miles and the thunder of it was wicked. nice wee walk to get closer to the falls and not a bad swimming spot either.
