Booked the feed the meerkats and lemurs experience for my fiancée and ive got to say it's excellent here. First of all a big thank you to the woman I dealt with over the phone who was very helpful with a PayPal issue we had. Secondly the experience was far better than either of us expected. A good variety of animals without being too big and overwhelming. Something going on every hour from holding snakes to touching owls. Staff were extremely informative, helpful and passionate about the animals. Toilets clean and food and drink reasonably priced. A good day out for children and adults. The weather was dreadful when we visited today on a cold, wet,... More

I arrived here with my friends expecting to see an small but decent array of animals. On arrival it was hard to distinguish where the entrance was then the zoo had little signage around. Very little information on the animals, the only one that seemed to have a decent amount was the tiger. I thought there might be more of... More

We found this place through an advert on facebook, so decided to visit since we were stopping near by. I've only ever been to one wildlife park before (and a number of zoos) and it was nice to see they had different animals on display such as the wolves. A few of the animals seemed to have an attraction to... More

This is a small zoo, but well organised. There were talks/demonstrations every hour. The staff and volunteers happy to answer questions about the animals. I was particularly pleased to see the sloth!

The food from the cafe was very tasty some of the prices were a good price, it is quite little but there is a good range of animals from otters to tigers to parrots and turtles .they let you hold snakes... Really enjoyed our day here, nice mix of animals, plenty to do. All animals seemed very well looked after, fresh clean enclosures and informative staff. Cafe good, shop decent, toilets clean. Indoor picnic area welcome, plenty room. Play equipment good. Really close views of all animals great photography possible. All in all a little gem!

My partner and I visited today with our sister-in-law and nephew. It was the best day out! Even tho it was a bit frosty that didn't stop us from enjoying the lovely well looked after animals. We even got to hold snakes and pet a blue tongued lizard!! After all our excitement of meeting the animals we had a lovely... More

My grown up children and I decided to visit Woodside Wildlife Park on a December afternoon and we had a great time. With my daughter recently home from a year travelling we were spending quality family time and as we all love animals decided to check it out. Priced at just under £10 per adult it wasn't cheap particularly but... More
