I have been down SH 1 hundreds of times. Never had I had a desire to see what was down there. Recently I did.Its really neat. Seals and great seascapes. And an old boat shed to add interest to a photo.

Pulled off the main road and followed signs to go and see the seals. It was a very windy day so the sea was very rough. Saw lots of seals on the rocks. Worth a visit.

Visited on a day when the weather was perfect to see the views and watch the seals at very close quarters. This is worth a visit if passing through.

This was recommended as a place to see fur seals. The weather conditions were such that we saw over 50 seals on the rocks. An amazing sight to see so many seals so close.
