Beautiful setting. Lots of lovely bright coloured butterflies to be seen at the lower falls. Quite unforgiving terrain in places, make sure you wear decent and sturdy shoes. This does involve quite a bit of climbing and clambering on rocks and tree roots. At times aided by handily placed ropes. Water is easily accessible and in places filled with fish.... More

The drive took about an hour and a half through scenic country. Road is in good shape and was a very relaxing part of the day. The falls themselves was a pleasant change from the seaside town of Hau Hin. Cool and quiet (not to many falongs). I had a bight to eat at the canteen but it is basic... More

Great fun following the creek up the hill and swimming in the various water holes with thousands of fish. Quite a rugged walk but well worth it. A good hour drive through pineapple country from Hua Hin

We drove from Cha Am and it took about 2 hours. Good roads all the way and well sign posted. It costs B300 per Western adult and B30 for the car. I also, like many Westerners, find this price absurd to enter a National park and Much cheaper for a Thai citizen. There are several levels as you climb slowly... More

We took a tour up to the falls and it was breathtaking to see the falls while being in the jungle. The area was beautiful free of clutter and debris to experience natures beauty. The water was clear and refreshing. The hike up was a little slippery so wearing proper shoes is highly suggested. We only went to the 4th... More

My husband and I are staying in Hua Hin all week. We decided to journey the hour and a half to the Pala-U Waterfall, and it was absolutely worth the trip. This waterfall is something beautiful. There are "swarms" of gorgeous butterflies flying everywhere. There are 11 levels of the waterfall. Most people go to level 5 to swim before... More

Travelled in by motorbike on excellent road! Pricey entrance fee at 300 bart! Trail up to level 4 of waterfall excellent - we went to level 5. Fed the fish - and sat with my feet in the water while they nuzzled at toes and feet. Fun. Didn't see any elephants on way in or out of park, but apparently... More

We drove from Hua Hin and that took about 1 hour. We walked and climbed all the way up level 5 and we really enjoyed. We had a good swim in the cold water and enjoyed the quick walk back down.

The falls are about an hours drive from Hua Hin and we chose to go on a private tour. We were driven to the falls and asked what level we'd like to go upto. It can take 8hours one way all the way to the top. We chose to go to level 5 as the waterfall was great here and... More
