Easy to drive to from our accomodation in Khao Lak. Worth the drive. One of the better waterfalls to view.

So great to be in natural surroundings. Park staff guide you where to go and you can buy some fish food for 10 baht. Had a fantastic time here. Cool and clean. Lots of fun!

Drive from Khao Lak Mc Donalds took around 20 minutes and cost 1400 baht as return trip (driver waited).

Scenere as jungle type when we arrived and started our route to the top of the waterfall. We have two kids full of energy and especially boy was super exited and went like an ape, parents not so much :). It was a good clime and took some effort and sweat, but totally worth of it (don't think that if you are out of shape this is your thing.).

On top it was so beautifull and nice to wait for a while prior lowering down. On our way down my wife notice above my head (two meaters) quite large pyhon in a roll of tree branch so there was some exitement. Eventually we came to down and got ourselves a bit of dip in nice water.

Highly recommending this one, go there.

We had a great time here it takes about 1 hour on the bike from khao lak
If you do Lampi ...tonprai waterfall and lam ru national park all on the same day you only pay one admittance fee now that is value for money ... We have visited many waterfalls in thailand and these 2 are easy access a little walking but no rock climbing which is good news
Well worth a visit we thoroughly enjoyed our day out

This waterfall was chosen over the rest due to its accessibility from the carpark. Short walk to the fall. Don't forget your goggles or snorkel to see the fishes. The water is pretty cold and quite a good place to spend probably no more than 2 hour there.

I visited Lampi waterfall the day after a huge downpour. It is a very beautiful and peaceful spot, probably more so due to it being in the green season. I took a taxi from Khao Lak, which cost about 1500baht. While a little pricey, it was worth it as my taxi driver stayed the whole time I was there. You can climb up to the top and swim at the top level, but not at the second level. You can swim at the bottom, however, not directly in front of the waterfall. The current is quite strong, even for a strong swimmer.

There is a nominal entrance fee, 110 bhat but the price gets you entrance to all the National Park in the area so well worth it. The bridge is closed for maintenance, but that doesn’t detract from this lovely waterfall - short walk from the car park.

Driven here by a local taxi driver. It is a beautiful spot and so easy to access from the car park. We climbed to the top of the falls and enjoyed a cooling swim in the crystal clear waters. The grounds around are so pretty, tropical and clean. No wonder this is a favourite with the locals! We had been to another waterfall before, but this one was so much easier to walk to.

After the Naval base Turtle sanctuary we went to Lampi Waterfall. You have to hike a simple path to reach the second level where you may have a view of the top tiers and down below but it is not recommended to swim there...too dangerous! But you can have a lovely view of the fall. The first level is easily reached from the parking lot...just a few hundred meters away and voila...you have a beautiful waterfall. It rained as we were leaving but we still enjoyed this place where you can even have a picnic. So bring your swimsuit and towels. There is a small hut serving drinks and food near the car park in case you get hungry or you want to buy fish food! Great place for kids.

We had a hire car so drove out to Lampi. It was very beautiful and plenty of water flowing at the beginning of October which is when we visited. We had a swim and spent about an hour in the water. Was just very relaxing and a unique experience. It is full of fish, big and small and is quite deep in places. Plenty of young locals having a swim and providing some entertaining back flips.
