Payed doubled price as tourist and didn't see anything interesting, no real fossils or new insights about dinosaurs. P.S. Also no need to do the walk through the park, there is nothing to see.

The Museum is a nice place with motorised dinosaurs outside and inside the museum. You get also an introduction of the "big bang" our solar system and the different prehistorical timezones. Very unique dinosaurs "siamosorus". Worth visiting. But the best is a few km further...More

Great place for kids and grown ups alike. Admission fee is only 60 Baht per person and it explains very well the history of the earth from the big bang to today. Unfortunately a bit remote and the restaurant was closed so hunger drove us...More

This place is very educational. There have been so many dinosaur finds here. This area was mainly vegetarian types whereas the other side of Khonkaen towards Kalasin are meat eaters. If you look on Google Maps at this area you can see the mountain formation...More

This is one of the better museums I've been to in Thailand - and they have several good museums - with good English information about the fossils found in the local area. There are several fossils on display as well as some animatronic dinosaurs and...More

The only best thing in this museum was the entrance with the moving dinosaur statue, and it came with the sounds. All displays inside the museum was made by plastics. I was expecting to see the real fossils...but not here in the museum. You need...More

It was better than I expected, with more displays and actual fossils and information than I thought it would have. It wasn't on par with the Smithstonian but nice for a Thai museum. It would work well for a short visit, an hour or two,...More

Would it be a rush to visit Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum and Sirindhorn Museum in a 2-day visit? I plan to fly in from Bangkok arriving in the afternoon and then head out to Phu Wiang. The next day, I will visit Sirindhorn Museum and then fly back to Bangkok.
