Temple visible from far and great views of the valley at it. Two temples, one in stone with fighting no lies on outside and serene Buddha deceptions on the inside. Beautiful wood carvings.
The second temple is a beautiful wooden temple with a big gold Buddha. Again, beautiful masonry.
Poor teenage son has seen too many temples but this was an ok visit since it is distinctly different.
Worth a detour or a great combo with the Sirindhorn Dinosaur & Geological museum.

Exquisite place!, still be unseen one of the most must visit temple in issan. Many woodcrafts were made of wood under Lampao dam.

Beautiful architecture with the wooden temple and the “stone” chedi but I was disappointed with the construction debris laying around the grounds. A lot of neglected maintenance.

This temple is a must to visit. One place is all made by wood with a big Buddha in gold, very beautiful. Second part is the big stone temple you see when you drive close, it contains one bone of the original Buddha. It is a special place to visit. The good thing is it is not much visited, so it is very quiet.

Also a little hard to find this site has an amazing array of beautiful wood carvings and an older style meeting area with lovely ceiling paintings and close by is the rather ornate and newer chedi and wat which is very impressive with a lovely view over the valley and surrounds.
