    Best Cooking Class Ever
We have participated in cooking schools worldwide, and I rate this one #1 ! From hotel pickup, to tour of farm, instructor, to foods cooked it was first class. Love individual cook station where we prepped and made everything.

A great way to learn authentic Thai cooking.
We absolutely loved our morning cooking class. Visiting a local market in the morning and then being introduced to fresh Thai ingredients being grown on the farm. Our host Garnet was incredibly helpful and patient with us as a group. We made three dishes, which we were able to choose from a selection, each having a soup, pad Thai and a curry, followed by mango sticky rice which was provided for us. The whole thing was seamless and very well organised, with pick up and drop off to our hotel. There was a photographer on site taking photos during the day, with free access via a QR code. We also received a digital cookbook to make our recipes at home. Would 100% recommend joining a class!

    An incredible experience
We were picked up on time outside our hotel and dropped off at a market. We had an educational explanation of the ingredients we were going to be cooking with and then taken to what can only be described as paradise. The school location was beautiful. We had a tour of the allotments and had the opportunity to taste and smell different herbs and a tour of the very well looked after chickens and made use of their eggs for our recipes. Annie our guide/teacher was absolutely fantastic. I would advise you don’t eat beforehand as there was a huge amount of food. For half a day we were provided with an ice tea type refreshment and we made/ate Tom yum soup, pad Thai and curry. We were also given mango sticky rice at the end. I would 100% recommend.

    Amazing day at Cooking School
We were picked up promptly by our driver and after picking up other guests in our group we made our way to a local market to learn about some of the ingredients we would be using. We met our host, Patty, at the market and she explained the various produce and ingredients we would be using. We were given 15 minutes to explore on our own before getting back in the Van for our drive to the location for our cooking class. Patty was a very gracious host and did an excellent job at explaining each dish and assisting us where needed. We made a good variety of traditional Thai dishes and sat down to eat after each course. Overall our experience was wonderful. We all enjoyed our day cooking and learning about Thai cuisine. Highly recommended.

Well worth the money and time
Well this surpassed my expectations by a long way. Astounding value for money. Package included being picked up from our hotel. We booked a single place plus observer which was a good call as there was lots of food. Our cook spoke excellent English, was bright, funny and knowledgable. The resulting food was excellent (even although I say it myself!!). I didn’t realise what a good cook I am 😊. I hope I can replicate this in the ok.

Great cooking experience led by a wonderful instructor
We booked the evening cooking class and the pickup at the hotel was right on time. We arrived at the school and were greeted by our instructor Noi who stayed with us the entire time. We went to our individual cooking stations and then went around the organic farm and gave us a lesson on the various ingredients we would use to prepare our meals. We were provided a menu card to select one of hot and sour or coconut soup, a pad thai, and either a curry dish or koi soi. The instructions on how to prepare each dish were clear and the results delicious. Noi was a spectacular host and made the experience one of our most memorable so far in our 10 week trip to Southeast Asia. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to learn how to make Thai food.

Before cooking we got a little tour at the farm and learned about ingrediences which grow directly there. Afterwards everybody cooked 3 dishes: a soup, Pad Thai, Curry, and all together we did Mango Sticky Rice as dessert. So much nice food, which you even can take home, if you aren't able to eat all. I can really recomand for food lovers☺

It was a perfect decision to choose Grandma’s home cooking school! Had an amazing time with them especially our chef/ teacher who is very friendly and funny. Can’t believe I was able to cook a very good 3 Thai dishes! It’s very easy to learn and our chef guided us all so well. Also did a tour at the local market and grandma’s garden. Drinking bottle water and very yummy iced tea is included. Couldn’t finish all I cooked but I was able to take away. What an amazing experience, thanks Grandma’s school for the great day! The mango sticky rice was served as dessert and was so good!

This was the highlight of my trip in Chiang Mai. Loved every minute, from the serene garden, the well organized cooking class, humorous cooking instructor, organic farming ingredients, and a trip to the local market! It was such a great experience! And the dishes we prepared and ate were delicious! Can’t wait to cook them at home!

The cooking school is in a very spacious and beautiful farm away from the city. The owners have obviously put a lot of efforts to make sure the visitors have an enjoyable experience. Our instructors Joy and Mike were amazing personalities who were not only fun and knowledgeable, but also passionate in what they do. You can tell a lot of thoughts have been put into the planning of the classes and the experience. Would be happy to join their classes again!
