Amazing place, highly recommend to any one in the Minca area. The place is just a 15 minute walk for the main part of the town. There is also a nice river on the property.

Una opinión fuera de tono que no se ajusta a la realidad! La pizza se hace en Horno cuando el cliente la pide, no se congela como dice ese Señor. Por lo tanto su opinión no es validera para nuestro negocio. Cordialmente Mr. KAKAW

It was interesting to see how they make cacao. They show you the process from bean to cacao.
We tasted smelled beans, tasted a purée. And got a cacao facial. It was a nice experience, I think it lasted 30minutes. It was nice to see.

Mr. Kakow has the most amazing focaccia!! The bread is absolutely fabulous and only 18,000 pesos you can share between 2 people. He even gave us a free tour of the Museo del cacao which was fascinating to learn about the cacao! Would highly recommend to come in with this friendly service and great prices!

While in Minca, do yourself a favour and visit this tiny museum / bar / restaurant and ask for a little tour from Mr. Cacao. This passionate owner will tell you everything this beautiful area has to offer and share some great stories while you enjoy a local beer or a delicious piece of chocolate. They have good breakfast too! Oh and don't forget to try The HUGE focaccia, it is exactly what you need after a long hike.

I was in Minca in January of 2020 and ended up spending a lot of time at Kakaw. The museum and shop are very interesting. Lots of cool products for purchase and artifacts from the area. I purchased some good hot sauce, natural insect repellent and a bracelet. I also drank and ate at Kakaw a couple of times. The food was good and it was a relaxed place to sit and have some drinks. The staff and owner are awesome people and very welcoming. I will be back next time in Minca.

After a long day of hiking we went there as we heard their pizza was great and we were starving.
Not only was the pizza amazing, but also the service was super friendly and we ended up talking to Kakaw who gave us a free tour of the place. He talked us through the 5 Cs, gave me some cream for my knee as he noticed I was limping and we had many laughs. The shop with their self made products is worth a visit, there‘s rolling tobacco, too, and no fee if you‘re paying by card!
Just perfect!:)

We got some shakes and their were awesome. You definitely should try them. Also we ate (my girlfriend and me ) one focaccia together - it was so huge and so delicious ! It was 18.000 - for me it was really cheap for that kind of food and size. Staff is really friendly . Great place to be !! :)
