Before I came to this place, I was a bit skeptical about this river, the photo's must have a heavy filter because it can never be that blue! Well guess again, it takes your breath away as soon as you approach this mighty blue river it's calling you, no screaming at you: "Come closer & jump in!" Unfortunately you're not... More

Visited there for my birthday vacation. Was very enticed by the magnificent clear waters. Was able to arrive there just in time for the fish feeding, you can see groups of fish flock to the feeders boat. The fish are very entertaining as you can clearly see them swim around the river and there are also a few big ones... More

yep, enchanted it is. this river has the bluest of all colors which is quite rare. just looking at the brilliant aquamarine to the deepest azure makes one think it has been sprayed perhaps with voluminous dyes. when asked how it became blue, nobody from the locals could explain. somebody offered that it has something to do with algae and... True hidden gem in Surigao Del Sur. We rented a boat and had an early dinner in the floating fish pen. We brought a private vehicle from Butuan. Our day tour itinerary: 9:00 Tinuy-an falls in Bislig 13:00 Enchanted River in Hinatuan Back to butuan

Going to Enchanted River was easier compared to Tinuy-an Falls because the road is passable even by an ordinary car. It was my first time but my brother and his family went there like several times already. According to them, the policies became stricter than before. One, you can't bring your car anymore to the area but has a designated... More

My friend Tom and i left surigao city at 2am and reached Hinatuan town proper at 6:30 am. We rented a motorbike and paid 200 pesos. Reached the place at 7am, gate still closed. Lucky that we were ther early so we had breakfast at the entrance gate where u can buy food and drinks. Island hopping that cost us... More

Day trip from butuan included stop at this river where sea water (pacific ocean) meets fresh water. The colour is as per the description crystal clear blue water where you can see fish swimming. Has option for swimming available. Interesting the cave labyrinth only discovered recently and the man who discovered them died from a heart attack while diving on... More

Nice place to experience. There is food on site and some souvenirs. The water is interesting how at the cave it's blue but as it moves down the river it is clear. There is an area down stream from the cave where you can enjoy the water. Lifeguards are usually on duty. The recounted the history of the fishermen culture... More

FIRSTLY, I would like to thank God for blessing Hinatuan, with these wonder lagoon! Prestine water all throughout the cove, kudos to the LGU for protecting and making the preventive measures to preserve the paradise. The deep part as of the moment is not allowed for swimming. There is a designated place to wander around. You can still see the... More
