This course has the best service in the island. Beautiful course with friendly unpretentious staff that’s genuinely warm and welcoming. We’ve golfed here a few times already and will definitely be back!

This course is beautiful! Expensive, but beautiful. Played both courses back to back in 2 days, preferred the North Course. Carts are not as fancy as some of the other resort courses in the Kona and Kohala areas. Staff was great, very helpful. Played in...More

A total disappointment. Managed by Troon Golf, they charge over $300 USD to play there. All the resort courses on the Big Island that are on the ocean are flat. So if you like flat courses, you’ll probably like this one. The greens are slow,...More

We played the South course on a Friday morning and it very quickly became one of our all time favorite courses. The beauty of the green fairways and greens built into the dark brown lave fields are breath taking. Do not attempt to fetch balls...More

Course was built in lava field and still has lava along sides and sometimes in the course or sand bunkers. Balls hit into the lava fields are gone! The south course had a lot of variety of holes with a couple of forced carry par...More

We played the south course which has a couple of holes along the ocean. The 15th hole in particular is amazing. The course was not crowded on the day we played and we got around quickly. The course is certainly playable for a double digit...More

A truly unique golf experience given the landscape. Played the South Course, with a 7.30am, tee time, in early July and thoroughly enjoyed the round after utilizing the driving range (grass tees and free balls) before we teed off. Course is in immaculate condition, with...More

The Frances Brown South and North Courses are among the world's most beautiful golf courses. Both are immaculately kept. The South course seems a little easier, although the fairways are more narrow. The club offers excellent service, and more than adequate practice facilities including a...More
