Alpacas -- what amazing animals! We stopped by in May. Parking is good. There is a tour of the facility and a tiny boutique. We had a chance to get close to the alpacas and were introduced to several by name. The owner clearly loves his animals and they return the favour.

I do not give five stars often for anything, but this one came really close except for just one little thing.

We decided to go there, looking for something to do, and it popped up on TripAdvisor. A farm is not truly my thing, but this ended up being fun.

The good: Host is passionate, caring about his animals, entertaining, includes everyone in the presentation, and is happy to answer questions. Good educational aspect. Presentations can be bilingual. Very cute shop. Very cute animals. You can even pet them (except their heads). High quality products. Can order by the web.

The bad: No seating places outside during presentation (even benches would have been nice). Farm stench. Products prices are high if you are not prepared for it (but quality makes up for it, trust me).

Covid restrictions: Signs and pump available for hands. No real social distancing in second part of farm. Nor the shop (being so small).

I bought a pair of socks and there are truly a great quality. The visit was a great unexpected highlight in our day. Will definitely go back (probably for more socks, lol).

We were a group of 48 seniors and we had a very enjoyable visit at the Domaine des Nobles Alpagas. The alpacas are adorable and the surroundings are very well kept. The owner Rene is passionate about his animals. He and his assistant kept us entertained by their many amusing stories and were most kind in helping those of us who were less mobile. I would highly recommend this place for a fun and informative experience for all ages.

Domaine des Nobles Alpagas in an amazing place to visit. The owner is so well versed and so caring with his alpacas it is incredible. I have become so enthralled with these creatures I am considering adopting a few! I visit regularly whenever I have a chance.

It is free to enter however, they have a lovely little boutique with products made from alpaca wool (an extremely strong, silky soft wool that wicks). I highly suggest you purchase a little something from the boutique if it is within your budget. You won't regret it. The quality is outstanding.

Enjoy the alpacas, in a beautiful country setting created by the owners with their own hands.

We had a lovely visit of the property with the owner. You can tell he is extremely passionate about the alpagas and very knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had a fantastic time! He was very kind and fun to listen to. They have a large heard of alpagas with cute little babies. The little boutique offers plenty of beautiful Canadian made products designed by the owner and created with their own alpagas’ fibers. The owner was super friendly! We had a lovely time and will definitely be back!

My friend and I decided to stop there and we were not disappointed. The owner is really nice, took time to explain to us everything about alpacas and we did learn a lot. There was a newborn 2 days old baby so that was really cute to see. Unfortunately some families show up with kids running all over the place, trying to touch the animals or feed them whatever they find on the ground and the parents are not doing anything about it so because of that when there are children present we cannot go inside the gates and touche the animals!

A few minutes from our Inn, a couple of hours well spent especially for someone who had never heard of Alpacas. You can tell the owner loves what he does and he is a great narrator, patient with the questions and very knowledgeable.

The Alpagas are very cute, but the host is rude and wants you to spend an hour under the sun so he can tell you about his alpagas. He was very arrogant and frankly not nice.

Visiting family in Knowlton who took us to an open house at this Alpaca farm, an immense property in the countryside. It was amazing to observe young & adult alpacas in their spacious pens, such gentle animals - young & old alike feeding them out of hand with the food provided to us by staff. It was interesting watching them communicate with each other, especially when they felt that another alpaca was trying to also feed out of your hand, as well as their eye contact with the humans visiting them. Owner René Desharnais & his family are very much involved in the operation of this business & obviously enjoy what they do for a living! The bilingual guided tour was most informative. Gift shop sells numerous items made from alpaca's wool which is very soft, durable & attractive. On this open house weekend, there were a few food, chocolate & hand-made craft vendors -many unique & interesting items for sale. Farm open & operates year round, although winter hours much more limited. Would be a great way to spend a day with your family - picnic tables on property as well. They also have an excellent website which I checked out later, very informative !
