A little disappointed with our visit to Perth Zoo. No crocodiles or elephants but eye-to-eye contact with Giraffe was awesome. Not to the standard of east coast zoos such as Taronga Park or Australia Zoo but was an enjoyable day none-the-less.

Such a great job has been done giving all the animals as much of a Natural Habitat as possible, that when they see people coming they hide and you can't see anything. Many things have changed since my last visit about 30 years ago and...More

Good zoo. Reasonable enclosures as far as a zoo goes. Good variety of creatures. Easy to walk - but long. Especially enjoyed the nocturnal exhibit. A bit pricey but it seems everything is in WA. Many places for kids to see clearly without being picked...More

I brought some overseas visitors to the zoo today and they absolutely loved it! Animals are always well looked after and our visitors loved the fact the enclosures were largely sized! The only gripe I have is the school kids, don’t get me wrong, most...More

Hi. You are not allowed to feed the animals in Perth Zoo. But it is a fantastic place to visit. Well worth going. But go to Caversham Wildlife Park to interact with animals. Well worth a visit. Enjoy.
