A little disappointed with our visit to Perth Zoo. No crocodiles or elephants but eye-to-eye contact with Giraffe was awesome. Not to the standard of east coast zoos such as Taronga Park or Australia Zoo but was an enjoyable day none-the-less.
The elephants at the zoo are what caught my eye about coming here... particularly when I saw that there were close encounter opportunities and I managed to book on to the "Breakfast with the Elephants".

Good zoo. Reasonable enclosures as far as a zoo goes. Good variety of creatures. Easy to walk - but long. Especially enjoyed the nocturnal exhibit.
A bit pricey but it seems everything is in WA.
