Stretching from East to West over 24 kms and North to South over 15 kms, it provides living space for both man and nature; where vine growers, sun and Mistral unite to produce vines of great character. The Mont Ventoux and the area around have been listed as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO since 1990. Our first experience on an electric bike tour and it was fantastic!! Bilgin was the perfect host and made our day so very special. After a brief explanation of the bike he sent us off into the vineyards with our map. As we road through the fields the scenery was breathtaking. We stopped along the way to taste some table... This is our local wine cave and use it regularly. Staff always friendly and English spoken. I was just stocking up with a 5 litre vrac of their vin rouge for our daily usage, 6 euros for 5 litres, excellent taste, don't be put off by the price this is not plonk, and then a couple of dozen bottles of... The Electric Bikes were a breeze to ride! We had an absolutely wonderful experience. One of our guides was an excellent translator and very attentive. We had 6 different wines to taste, plus 2 different settings where we were served local bread and goat cheese drizzled with honey and then local antipasti tray with sausages, jambon, and more lovely cheeses.... Today we had a marvelous wine and agricultural tour by electric-bicycle along with about 8 other guests of TerraVentoux as well as our hosts Gabrielle, Ann, Suzy and Tomas. The crew were just marvelous and informative and it was an overall great experience. We visited a cherry farm, had a picturesque white tasting in the center of the village of... More

TerraVentoux offer an excellent guided tour around the local vineyards on electric bikes. The tour is lead by a local wine producer and and an English speaking guide. The tour takes you to various places (local village and ochre workings) for talks and wine tasting with local foods. The tour ends back at Cave TerraVentoux for more wine tasting and... More

This is a really good tour.....just the tour of the cave....we had a good guide, in French but she was careful to ensue that the English guests were understanding what she was saying and gave time for questions etc. Afterwards the tasting was very good- the host was a very helpful guide to the variety of wines and he was... We wanted to do something special for our anniversary so we booked a bike tour & picnic in the vineyards of Terra Ventoux. It was just perfect....an anniversary we will never forget! Our host Aurelien was excellent. It was a self guided bike tour, with stops every 5-6 Kms for wine tasting and wine education by Aurelien. The bike tour... More

We're staying in Villes Sur Auzon and on the recommendation of our host booked the electric bike trip with the winegrowers' picnic. The staff at the Cave were very helpful and our guide Gabriel (whose English is brilliant) took time to explain all we needed before we set off. The cycle route is well signposted and provides great views and... More

We drive from Italy each spring to cycle in this region. Each trip buy a trunkful of wines of the region at the TerreVentoux Cave in Ville-sur-Auzon. It is nearly impossible to find a rose' or grenache/syrah blend that matches these in Italy. We love our Brunello, Barolo, Sagrantino, Super Tuscans, and find no match for these in France, but...
