Yaucromatic is a public art project created by the non-profit organization Arte Para Unir. In 2022 it has 62 works of art displayed throughout the urban area of Yauco, Puerto Rico. This is a piece of art in the middle of Yauco town. Beautiful spot to visit. Nice restaurants around the corner. Lots of stairs to climb for a good work out. Nice view from the top.

They have done a wonderful job with this concept and it gives purpose to so many abandoned buildings. It's free of charge, great for taking lots of pics. Be careful with the stairs they are a bit steep and be respectful of the people that live here. Keep in mind that it can get quite busy on weekends.

Well worth the drive from Rincon. The Yaucromatic2 murals are impressive. You will notice random murals on the way to the Yaucromatic2 location (bonus). I actually witness two wall art projects being created before arriving at the main attraction. This town is a artist magnet 🧲. I had my Nikon D750 with a Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 lens during this visit. This camera setup is a decent size but I felt no bad vibes from the locals etc. Everyone was friendly that I came across.
Note: I would highly recommend you make purchases in the town (food, Souvenirs, etc). It’s not near any of the more trendy areas so they don’t get a lot of tourist traffic. I don’t live in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 or have any affiliation with the artist. I just know that remote towns like this one can use the economic support.

I wanted to check out my husbands family’s hometown. It was a fun experience. Come check it out. Take some fun pictures get creative and it’s free. Nice to go solo or in a group.

Cool little town but not easy to navigate. We kind of drove around playing a little ooh there is something after a walk around. Not much was open as we visited in the morning.

Awesome street art exhibit. Worth the stop and walking around this cute little town. Lots of great coffee in Yauco as well!

Excellent cultural experience. Locals are so friendly and happy to see new visitors to their town. Murals are lovely also.

We loved the art and the actual interactive map was fun to use with the kids. Had such a great time seeing the beautiful sites. Worth the visit.

My family of four visited Yaucromatic on an overcast day, which allowed these vibrant colors to pop even more so against the gray sky! It is worth the hike up the hill and stopping at all the painted murals along the way! I am in art education and was super stoked to have the opportunity to experience this artwork! It is a must see!

The houses were beautiful and colorful. It is on a hill so I would suggesting having comfortable walking shoes.
