I came to Monterrey in a vacation. I looked up various things to do and this game up. Booked a tour with toursinmonterrey.com.

They charge $700 pesos per adult. Pick you up at 10 am at area hotel and take you in a van that he about 10 people.

A long drive with two halts. The second half is at the park. One can walk up the trail to the park or ride a horse or go in a horse carriage ( entrance fee was part of the package and I did not pay it). Even if one goes by horse or horse carriage, one has to walk the final stretch. This is NOT wheelchair accessible. On the right hand side, one has the zipline entrance to which is near the falls. Not sure how much it costs. It goes over the canopy.
The falls are not majestic like other falls but have their own natural beauty. There are a lot of vendors enroute and even at the topmost part- selling trinkets and even corn. There is a photograph vendor who charges $60 pesos for a snap and 100 for two. I tried one. His canon printer is NOT good and I strongly recommend not to do this. He also does not have a way to email the digital file. He goes into a ‘no man’s land’ and captures a pic. Only he goes to that place.

Anyway you can walk along the path, see the falls in its full majesty from close by.

Carry water to drink.

went there with my family. They have horse rides if you do not want to walk. But it is a short walk to the waterfall.
Along the way, there are little local shops to buy local made goods.
Middle of the walk, there is a Photo Op with a small crocodile and parrots.

The waterfall itself is a very nice place or a photo opportunity. Nothing much to say, as it is a waterfall. nothing more, nothing less.

Not much to do here other than go up to the waterfall which was very low in water. We heard there’s better months to visit where the waterfall is beautiful. We were in the area for an hour and a half max.
Wear comfortable shoes to go steps...

I really enjoyed the waterfall! It is beautiful! It was not crowded at all. I enjoyed the nature walk up to the waterfall. There are a lot of vendors along the way. I wanted to eat at one of the local restaurants but didn’t have enough time.

Very nice waterfall. It is a shame that they open kind of late for my taste and close too early as well. I like photography that is why early and late hours are important to me.

In addition, there are too many little stores on the way up that take away from the beauty of this place. It would be better to designate all those little stores and restaurants in a specific area and leave the trail to the waterfall isolated. Just a thought.

That being said it is still a nice place to visit, they also have cooking areas if you plan to spend the afternoon at the park.

This lovely waterfall and surrounding park/picnic area is a little ways out of Monterrey proper, and the road off the main highway is pretty slow going. But if you want to have a picnic and/or a stroll, or donkey ride, or horse-drawn carriage ride, or zipline down from the top, this is a pretty good place to go. The touristy shops are a little tacky, but also kinda fun. The paved path to the waterfall is nicely done and easy walking. No real effort required. The falls are lovely with some nice photo ops. Not a 'must-see', but an enjoyable couple of hours.

Don't go there. The waterfall is nice but locals created a market of this place which destroys the beauty of the surroundings. But the worst of all is that they treat the horses so badly. They don't have water nor food nor shadow. They suffer a lot and and are mistreated. Please don't encourage animal abuse.

We arrived about ten minutes before the park opened, but an employee got tickets for us so we were able to stroll along the walk next to a stream up to see the waterfall. It was really beautiful. This would be a great place to spend a few hours with the family.
